A Federal Appeals court has overturned a law that would require airlines to provide food, water, toilets, and fresh air to passengers who are trapped for long hours on board airlines, according to LARRY NEUMEISTER, Associated Press Writer. I think it would be expected of airlines to provide some services in the event passengers are trapped onboard their airlines. There shouldn't be a law in place to force airlines to do this. It should be the airlines' obligation to provide basic services to stranded or trapped passengers. Airlines are smart enough to know that if passengers are stranded on their airplanes they better step up to the plate and do all they can to assist because if they don't, they would receive lots of negative publicity, which wouldn't be good for business!
