Hillary Clinton has been told by many leaders in the democratic party that she should quit the presidential race because she is hurting the party by continuing to dig up dirt on Obama. The New York senator has won a majority of delegates by winning some of the big states, but she trails behind Obama who has won more total delegates. Party leaders and Obama's leading supporters, Christopher Dodd and Patrick Leahy, have said "Friday that Clinton should rethink her chances of overcoming that deficit and consider folding her campaign," (Associated Press, March 29, 2008). Adobe Systems Inc. has just released a free web version of its popular photo editing software, Photoshop. The software is mainly used by professionals who are trained. However, the new free web version will be simple enough for anyone with minimal internet skills to upload and edit a photo, (Amanda Fehd, Associated Press Writer). Adobe had no choice but to jump in on the social networking band wagon and join Google and Microsoft. It is evident that these two giants are on the verge of controlling a large part of the online social scene, in which photo sharing is a large part. The new free online photoshop website allows members to upload their photos, but not only that, members are able to edit these photos such as cropping, adding and removing colors, tweaking, etc, a feature not available anywhere on the web, (at least not that I know of). After a photo is edited to an owner’s content, this photo can then be shared among friends or be placed on facebook.com via embedded codes. In fact, I can foresee a facebook application coming soon! So, one can see here that the internet is becoming more and more populated with social applications. Would you like to know why? The reason is obvious--there are lots of money lodged in it—one just has to look. I am already looking! Are you? Please click the following link for details.

A Federal Appeals court has overturned a law that would require airlines to provide food, water, toilets, and fresh air to passengers who are trapped for long hours on board airlines, according to LARRY NEUMEISTER, Associated Press Writer. I think it would be expected of airlines to provide some services in the event passengers are trapped onboard their airlines. There shouldn't be a law in place to force airlines to do this. It should be the airlines' obligation to provide basic services to stranded or trapped passengers. Airlines are smart enough to know that if passengers are stranded on their airplanes they better step up to the plate and do all they can to assist because if they don't, they would receive lots of negative publicity, which wouldn't be good for business! Tiger Woods 6-game winning streak finally ends at Doral, FL. Ogilvy was David who slew the might Tiger. It seemed as if Tiger Woods was going to win this tournament, no matter what the circumstances, but it wasn't meant to be. He finished at 15 under while the winner, Ogilvy finished 17 under. The way Tiger Woods have dominated the sport of Golf made me wonder if at some point the governing bodies would change the rules. Please click here for details

Why should Senator Barack Obama be responsible for another person's opinion? It is not fair to hold Obama accountable for what any of his supporters say. Neither is it fair to hold Hillary or McCain responsible for utterance made by their supporters, (Grunwald, Michael, (TIME, CNN). There is no way Senator Barack obama should be held accountable for what Pastor Wright said. Whatever Wright said, he said it because that is his individual opinion and everyone is entitle to his/her opinion. Therefore, his statement is a product of him not obama. So, one should not blame obama for what Wright said. obama cannot control the opinions of his supporters. It is just not reasonable for anyone to expect any of the 3 Candidates for that matter to be responsible for the actions of supporters. This is not the same thing as saying obama is the Supervisor for Wright and Wright is the subordinate of obama, so whatever Wright does, obama is responsible. First of all, Wright does not directly work for Senator obama. So, this is another example of why obama shouldn't be blamed for Pastor Wright's comments in his sermon. Click here for more details!

The consequence of rapid economic growth has had its pitfalls in China. This has been the second time in as many months that we have heard about a Chinese company being involved in some sort of food-related contamination. The first contamination was with dog food, which caused the death of many American Pets. Now, the infraction is contaminated Heparin, a pharmaceutical blood thinning agent used by hospital patients with blood clotting problems. The contaminated Heparin was traced back to a major Chinese supplier, who also got its supplies from smaller Mom and Pops distribution shops, (David Barboza, New York Times, March 22, 2008). China has experienced rapid economic growth ever since it reconstructed the Yanse river for ships to travel. Since then, China has had experienced one of the fastest economic growth in history; people are driving cars to work instead of riding bicycles now-a-days! This in itself has created another big problem on the streets of China--crashes and more crashes! Drivers aren't getting enough time to learn to drive before they get behind the wheel and as a result are ending up as casualties. Therefore, the consequence of rapid economic growth comes with a price, and where are seeing it every day on the streets of china and in the food products produced by China. China hasn’t been the first country ever to experience economic growth, The United States of America did too! Many people developed lung cancer from asbestos and other carcinogens in early and late 1900s when industrialization in America was at its peak. So, we shouldn’t be too quick to blame China for things it cannot totally control. We should give it time to get used to such rapid economic success, which will help it. Apple is considering allowing iPod and iPhone users free downloads of music from its iTunes Music Store if customers pay more for both devices, {San Fransisco, California (AP)}. What is the music industry coming to? It seems as if it is dipping down to rubble status! How low can it get? I am sure that Apple owns the major record labels. Apple is now the official dictator of all the major and minor record labels. Whatever Apple decides to do, the labels have to go along with it. At first, it forced the record labels to sell single songs for 99cents a download, something that the record labels were reluctant to do, but they ended up doing it anyway. Now, this! Free downloads? It is very hard to come to grips with this latest plan! The labels appear to me like figure heads; they get pushed around by Apple every time Apple decides to capitalize on a money-making opportunity. I feel very sad for the Music Industry. The once very powerful entity is now nothing but a pile of rubble, consisting of old, twisted up, and broken up vinyl, with cassette tapes scattered all over the junk yard. How are the artists who spend countless hours trying to record and promote their art going to pay studio cost and put food on the table? Well, we shall wait and see the outcome of this latest Apple move to capitalize on an already weakened music industry. Click here for more details!
