According to CNN, Facebook’s new translation feature is getting a lot of criticism from high profile language scholars around the world. Facebook.com created a translation feature, which it envisioned to help people around the world interacted with its platform. However, the feature is not very effective in translating the languages. Critics claimed that it is misspelling certain words, especially in Spanish,(CNN).

Hello, Mstardom members, we have added new features to our platform. These features are similar to the ones on all the other major social networking sites. The first feature is the “Friends Activity Feed.” It is very similar to the facebook version. This feed shows you all the activities of your friends while you were away from your profile. So, if your friend uploaded a photo, a video, music, create a group, add friends, etc, it will tell you, so you will be in the know at all times, even though you might be away from your profile page. You will see the “Friends Activity Feed” when you log into your Mstardom Account. It is therefore located on the “My Account” page. The other feature is the “Email Importer” feature, which allows you to tell all your friends about Mstardom.com by just logging into your email account on the “Invite” page. For example, if you have a hotmail, AOL, Gmail, or yahoo email account, you would just write in your email username and password and write a short message telling your friends about Mstardom.com. After doing this, you will press the submit button and all your friends from your email address book will be notified about your Mstardom.com web page. So, you are basically telling your email friends about your profile page. We at Mstardom.com will continue to provide its members with the most exciting and up-to-date features around. So, stay logged in to Mstardom.com and you will always be the first to know about new features. We also will be adding more exciting features within a few weeks. We won’t tell you what features we will be adding until we do so because we want this process to be exciting! If you always know what feature is coming, then it won’t be as exciting. Any features you see on other networking websites can easily be added to Mstardom.com; so don’t be surprised if you noticed a similar feature on Mstardom.com that you saw on another website. Britney Spears was involved in a minor car accident last night (April 12, 2008), exact time was not specified according to an Associated Press Report. The article stated that the Pop Princess was driving in her 2008 Mercedes Benz in stop-and-go traffic when her car hit a 2006 Nissan in the rear, which caused the car to hit another car in front of it. The FCC has approved a Text Messaging Alert System plan that will provide emergency text messages to cell phone owners. The agency will create a federal department to manage the implementation of this text messaging alert plan. Cell phone carriers will be notified about the emergency information that they should send to customers. This plan will cover three emergency areas; they are national disasters, such as terrorist attacks, ongoing threats such as hurricanes, earthquakes, or tornados, and child abductions or Amber Alerts. A CNN article, by Elizabeth Landau, stated that Facebook Inc has just released a new instant messaging feature, which will rival AOL's AIM, MSN's messenger, and Google's Gmail. The social networking juggernaut boasting more than 69 million registered users, has always had a messaging system built-in, which resemble regular e-mail. However, the site will now release a chat system, which will allow friends to type back and forth instantly. This was already a common feature on Myspace and other smaller social sites, such as Mstardom.com, but Facebook may have a few tricks up its sleeve with this new feature!
