According to Peter Kaplan, (Reuters), Sirius Satellite Radio is on the verge of buying XM Radio; so, a group of Attorneys General from a few states have consulted the FCC on this matter, arguing that the two companies should not be allowed to buy each other because this will eliminate competition and thus but undue burden on the pockets of consumers. I agree with the motion to challenge this transaction and to prevent it from happening. Two sole competitors in a market dominated by both companies should not be allowed to buy each other. This would eliminate competition, which isn't good for us consumers. Please see the continuation here
