Isn't the internet a lot of fun? Well, certainly! I can pick whatever news information I want to write about and elaborate on it. I don't need to wait for any radio stations or TV stations to pick what news I should know about. In fact, there were several sports news topics to write about, but I chose this one because I thought it was appropriate. Here it is from the horse’s mouth. Our dear beloved Mets held an Audition for people to sing the national anthem. I mean that they have held an audition, American Idol style, so people like you and I could try out, to sing the National Anthem at Games. I think this was an awesome gesture by the New York Mets organization to do such a thing. The article stated that the Mets usually use professionals to sing the National Anthem, but changed their strategy because they wanted their fans to be a part of the game, (Verena Dobnik, Associated Press Writer). I just love it! If I had that kind of singing voice, I would definitely be there Serenading (as in my Jamaican Twang--Make me try a ting!). Click here for remainder of story!
