STAFF at an opticians went wellie crazy to raise essential funds for charity.
led tube light Members of the team at Specsavers in Eastgate Street ditched the heels and smart shoes and donned an array of colourful wellington boots for the day on Friday as a fundraiser for leading children's charity Action Medical Research.
Store Manager Tony McGowan said: "It went really well actually.
"The staff and customers all reacted very well to it all. In some ways it's more noticeable than just wearing a green T-shirt, you have to ask questions if someone's in a suit and wellies.
"I think it's just nice to do something different.
"We raised more than Pounds 100, so it went very well overall."
