YouTube has made another dramatic improvement to its video player. It was just a few weeks ago that the company introduced its innovative sponsored in-video search bar feature. One would think that YouTube was finished introducing innovative features for the month, but no! It seems as if the journey has just begun. YouTube has stepped up to the competition again by introducing a wide screen version of its legendary video player. One can see the new video player in action by logging onto the site and signing in if one is a member.
YouTube is definitely remaining competitive on the battle field with its rivals, Hulu, Crackle, Viacoms Mtvmusic, and a whole lot more. Crackle like its counterpart Hulu is now a formidable foe. The Sony Inc. website has just begun introducing short 5-minute clips of TV Shows. Unlike Hulu, which add full-length movies and TV shows to its website, Crackle decision makers decided to take the opposite route in posting shorter video clips of its original created shows and old TV shows. This move is definitely a great idea because it is always better to do something different rather than follow what another company is doing.
