Negativity

Well I could entertain you with the stories of my life, but I decided to keep it short and sweet. I was once what you might consider a bad *ss kid. I'm a survivor of the 80's in South Jamaica Queens, NY. I consider myself quite lucky and fortunate, why? Well if you know anything about that particular era then you know that drug dealers were the "in crowd". I refused to let myself get drawn into too deep. So time went on and I had a few children, which was a good thing because thats what slowed me down. I was once told by one of my associates that I used to hang out with, that he could never understand why I was around in these bad areas, it was like I didn't fit in. I know what he meant once I had the opportunity to really think about it. I always carried myself like a lady, I always used proper english (not slang), quiet but observant and full of creative potential. I used to think about various things when I had these quiet moments and one of the things I would think about was music. I always loved music. Once upon a time in my life I tried song writing, it was fun while it lasted but that didn't give me the charge I was looking for. Then long and behold I stubbled across music producing and decided that this is what I am destined to do. So, I began teaching myself 2 years ago. Yeah, I know I've started late in my life but you know what they say, "better late, than never".
